Ras Bihari

Founder

Ras Bihari, the founder of Ras Kala Manch, is a personality deeply rooted in art, service, and social welfare — all carried forward with simplicity and dedication. Around 47 years ago, while residing in Kaithal, he began his journey by working as an assistant director in Ramlila performances, gradually refining his theatrical expression and devotion to the art form.

He always held a deep interest in music as well, but life led him to Safidon nearly 47 years ago, where he began his own business and continued contributing actively to social and religious initiatives. His involvement remained steadfast — from running a blood donation initiative for the differently abled with Safidon’s local clubs, to organizing free medical camps, he created new models of community service.

Nearly 22 years ago, he founded Ras Kala Manch with the intention of planting a cultural and social seed that has now grown into a powerful platform — a non-governmental organization (NGO) that resonates deeply within the community. His vision, sense of service, and lifelong commitment continue to inspire Ras Kala Manch, which today serves Safidon with tireless dedication to Indian art and culture.
