Ankita graduated from Digvijay Nath P.G. College, Gorakhpur, and has been actively working in the field of theatre for the past 9 years. In 2019, she completed her Diploma in Drama from Bharatendu Natya Akademi and also earned the Prabhakar degree in Kathak (Classical Dance) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti.

She has worked with several renowned theatre personalities, including Manvendra Tripathi, Manoj Sharma, K.K. Rajan, Kirti Jain, Satyavrat Raut, Partha Bandhopadhyay, Bansi Kaul, C.R. Jambe, and Vikrant Mani Tripathi.

Ankita wrote, directed, and acted in the play Main Aur Ruhi. She has also directed plays such as Shambhu and Dedh Ooper.

Currently, she is associated with Ras Kala Manch, working under the mentorship of Mr. Ravi Mohan.
