Painter Deepak Kumar was born on 5th September 1969 in Panipat, Haryana. From an early age, he displayed a deep interest in art and creative expression. A multi-talented artist, Deepak Kumar not only excels in painting but also possesses a strong understanding of sculpture and music. His gentle personality leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets.

He studied painting under the guidance of renowned artist Mr. Somdat Sharma (Jind Ji). His primary artistic focus lies in realistic painting, a style he continues to explore with dedication.

Deepak Kumar has been associated with Ras Kala Manch, Safidon Theatre Group, for many years. He has contributed significantly to the stage design, props, and visual elements of various plays, including Rezang La, Bali and Shambhu, and Vekhav Ki Duniya: Infection Se Virus Tak.

According to him, “For a meaningful artistic expression, it is essential for an artist to be deeply emotional.”
